2024 NFVA Scholarship Winners

Every year, the NFVA awards four $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students who live in North Falmouth. The awards are based on academic achievement, school and local activities, and overall service to the community. There were 10 applicants this year and we want to thank our Scholarship Team for their dedication to carefully reading and scoring each of those applications.


Our 2024 winners have achieved excellence in all areas. Our congratulations to them all!




Jackson Falcone, a graduate of Falmouth High School, was a member of the National Honor Society (for which he served as vice president) and the Math and Spanish Honor Societies. Jackson played Golf, Lacrosse and Basketball, serving as captain for lacrosse and basketball. He participated in various Community Service activities including Habitat for Humanity, FHS mentor, Youth Basketball Camp, and FEF Beach Cleanup. He will now pursue a degree in engineering at Vassar College.




During her time at Falmouth High School, Teagan Lind was on the National Honor Society as well as the Math, Music and Spanish Honor Societies. She served as a School Committee representative and a Superintendent Student Advisory member, DEI advisor, GLAM Girl club (founder and president), and participated in Student Government. Teagan played on the school's basketball team, serving as Captain in 2023/24. She participated in many community service activities including Basketball trainer volunteer, Team Maureen, Developed and taught a 6 week Spanish course for students at Mullen Hall, Dana Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund Clinic picnic for pediatric oncology patients, Serenity Farms, and Falmouth Road Race. Teagan will now pursue a degree in biology at Middlebury College with the goal of pursuing pediatrics.




Ethan Oberton is a graduate of Falmouth High School where he played on the FHS Soccer team. He was a member of the National, Math and Latin Honor Societies. Ethan served as Vice-President of the Latin club and was a member of the Model UN club. He participated in community service activities including NFVA Unplugged volunteer, Cape Cod Church Kids volunteer, FHS Open House, Falmouth Road Race, FHS Graduation Junior Honor Guard and Math Tutoring. Ethan plans to pursue a degree in Finance at Bentley University.




Ellery Wilson's activities at Falmouth High School included National Art Honors Society (President), National Latin Honor Society (Treasurer), National Honor Society, National Math Honor Society, Latin Club. She participated in Community Service activities including Falmouth Art Center, Math Tutoring, Mills River Rescue,  and Contributed to numerous murals. Ellery plans to attend Durham University in England to major in Ancient History and Archaeology.
